A factory tablet project becomes easier to judge when it starts with one completed job. Consider an operator recording an inspection result against a work order. The device must show the right instruction, accept the result and send it to the correct record. Buying hardware before defining that sequence leaves important decisions to the installation stage. Industrial tablets for manufacturing can support several jobs, but each needs a different trial. Work instructions depend on readable pages. Inspection records depend on usable forms. Material traceability depends on reliable identification and an agreed data destination.

For work instructions, check the real document at the distance operators will use it. The Lanodo PT10B has a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1200 × 1920 resolution and a specified brightness of 450 nits. These figures help define a shortlist. They cannot settle readability under every lamp, reflection or outdoor condition. For inspection work, the datasheet lists an 8MP front camera and a 16MP rear camera. Test whether a photo captures the defect detail that your quality team needs. File naming, work-order association and image upload belong in the application requirements. For identification, the PT10B supports optional barcode scanning and optional NFC. Select the method used by your labels or tags. A facility using printed part labels has different requirements from one reading contactless cards.
A tablet can collect a correct result and still leave the factory with incomplete records if the software assigns it to the wrong order. Define the fields before the trial. An inspection might need an order identifier, station, result, operator and timestamp. Your own process determines the final list. Lanodo’s company profile describes peripheral integration and application development capabilities. Buyers can use that starting point to discuss a manufacturing execution system, or MES, which tracks production work. The project team still needs to agree how the tablet application exchanges data with that system. Neither Android hardware nor a Wi-Fi specification proves compatibility with a particular MES. Have the software owner review the proposed connection and test a complete record transfer.

Use one station and representative tasks for the first pilot. Record incomplete submissions, repeated scans and the time operators spend correcting entries. These observations can explain whether a problem comes from the form design, the network or the selected hardware. Include a shift handover. Confirm where the device charges, who signs in next and how an unfinished record is handled. The PT10B lists an 18W charger and a screw-secured removable battery, so charging arrangements deserve a place in the operating plan. Send Lanodo a sample instruction page, a label example and a description of your production system. Ask for a PT10B configuration suited to that first station. Expand the rollout after the pilot shows that the job and its record can both be completed.
